AWE with Recently CE-marked Dedicated Guidewires: a Classical Technique with Novel Devices

Dear Colleagues,
it is a pleasure to participate in this competition. The case we are presenting is a proximal RCA CTO recanalised by the anterograde wire escalation technique using recently CE-marked dedicated guidewires. We will show how the appropriate sequential use of wires with different characteristics and increasing workload facilitates the crossing of the CTO, how the use of IVUS after predilation and stenting is an essential tool to select the best lesion preparation strategy and to guide the final expansion, and finally how intravascular lithotripsy is an effective technique to manage severely calcified occlusions.

Thank you very much for considering our case for the video contest.

Sincerely yours,
